Evaluate, Choose, Trust

I've mentioned this before, but it stands to be repeated, and loudly:

1. Critically evaluate your potential wedding professionals: be respectful but diligent

2. Select the best candidate for the job and budget, giving weight to experience, references and your gut feelings

3. Trust your pros: you chose them for their expertise, unless they are recommending something truly bizarre or unheard of, trust that they want the best for your wedding day

Quality, experienced wedding professionals can make your entire planning experience, as well as your wedding day something close to pure joy (they can't eliminate in-laws, so don't even ask).
