Groundbreaking Series: Real Vendors Who "Get It"
I am launching a movement that will help brides choose the best of the best wedding professionals - not only those in Williamsburg, Virginia (my immediate territory), but also those in the great beyond.
This popular, professional wedding coordinator is making it my mission to find, feature and praise the heck out of vendors who "Get It". If I mention them in this blog, I am telling you that in my professional opinion, there is something major that they are doing right.
You STILL have to evaluate them for suitability to YOUR needs...everyone has a bad day, and goodness forbid you get into a bad situation, you need to work it out amongst yourselves. But I'm planning to do the best I can in this worldwide search for the real deal: PROFESSIONAL wedding vendors who get it.
If you want to be mentioned, be prepared to prove yourself. Don't just send me an e-mail saying you're cool, hip or exciting. I want proof that you are in the "IT" crowd. I want to see overwhelming evidence. Be bold - invite me to observe your work (I'm up for travel); share compelling testimony from a source other than your sister.
I'll taste that cake for you, dance with your very best dance instructor (where steelies, I'm no Ginger Rogers), time the arrival of that horse and carriage, watch your (PG-rated) reception videos, read your pre-written speeches...I'll be glad to put you to the test. I'm challenging you, my chosen industry, to show me what you've got!
PROVE to me that regardless of the size of your company or of your marketing budget, you truly have what it takes to provide the highest heights of what can be offered to couples...that level of service that regardless of budget respects that a wedding is sacred as is our responsibility to our clients on their wedding day.
If you fit the bill, you know it, and you want to shout it from the rooftops. Here is your rooftop.
Pretenders need not apply. I have no patience for you.
Comments under this particular series of posts will be moderated to intentionally NOT include vendor self-promotion (although legitimate comments with content that is relevant will be strongly considered). That's not the point of this movement and you have my hundreds of other posts to try and infiltrate in that manner. The point of this series is to expose the best and ignore the rest.
Keep a close eye out for the first vendor in our series...then call them quick because they won't have unbooked weekends for long.
Ready. Set. Go. Be spectacular.
